A: No. Other options for your IPv4 device are described below.

Q: “What should I do?”
A: Public Static IP addressing exposes your network to frequent and increasingly aggressive malicious probing. It poses a significant security risk and should be avoided. Carriers have seen an increase in malicious probing from 2-3/week to 2-3/hour. This unsolicited network traffic poses a security risk and an additional data cost burden.
Solutions include:
– Using a Private APN with Static IP; this involves additional time and cost but offers the best combination of simplicity and security.
– Use Public Dynamic addressing and DynDNS
Customers are also encouraged to talk to a Digi Sales Engineer about options most appropriate for your application.
